ECM USA uses this page to determine whether a prospective matter appears suitable for further consideration. It is not Tier 1, Tier 2, KYC/KYB, a feasibility study, a substantive mandate diagnostic or a formal advisory engagement.

Please provide concise, accurate information. Exhaustive confidential files are neither required nor appropriate at this stage unless ECM USA has specifically requested them.

General mandate threshold: USD $25 million or equivalent. Matters below the general threshold may be considered where ECM USA determines that the matter is strategically significant or otherwise suitable for review.

Preliminary Screening

ECM USA considers mandate value, requested role, authority to act, apparent credibility, documentation posture and general institutional suitability.

Tier 1 — If Invited

A Limited Institutional Qualification Review serves as the preliminary eligibility and acceptance gate for matters invited beyond the public intake stage.

Tier 2 — If Progressed

Standard Institutional Client Qualification, KYC/KYB and Engagement-Readiness Review establishes formal qualification and onboarding readiness.

Diagnostic & Scoping

Where appropriate, ECM USA may undertake substantive institutional readiness, project or mandate assessment to define workstreams, scope, economics and execution requirements.

Formal Engagement

Substantive services commence only following acceptance, applicable onboarding, definitive engagement documentation and satisfaction of relevant fee and activation requirements.

Each stage is distinct. Progression through one stage does not guarantee progression to the next. Tier 1, Tier 2, substantive diagnostic, feasibility, advisory and transaction-management services are separate from this preliminary public submission and may be subject to separate terms, documentation and fees.

Submission Principles

Institutional review begins with disciplined information.

Preliminary submissions should be factual, authorized and appropriately limited to information necessary for ECM USA to understand the matter at this stage.

Accuracy

State the facts clearly. Avoid unsupported claims, exaggerated transaction status, or representations that cannot be substantiated if the matter progresses.

Authority

Submit a request only where you have appropriate capacity to act for yourself, the relevant entity, project, sponsor or authorized principal.

Security

Do not submit passwords, private keys, one-time passcodes, banking credentials or unrestricted account-access information through the preliminary intake.
