Request Institutional Review
Begin with a controlled mandate assessment.
Qualified prospective clients with serious commercial, financial, project, or cross-border mandates may submit a preliminary request to be considered for ECM USA’s Institutional Review process.
Submission does not create a client relationship, advisory obligation, financing commitment, or engagement by ECM USA. If accepted, Institutional Review may require a non-refundable review fee before substantive work begins.
Initial Review Standard
ECM USA reviews suitability before accepting any matter for substantive work.
ECM USA uses a controlled intake process to determine whether a proposed matter appears suitable for further consideration. The initial request should help ECM USA understand the nature of the mandate, the client’s role, the jurisdictional context, the estimated mandate value, the requested support, and the current documentation status.
The purpose of the request is not to provide exhaustive confidential materials. The purpose is to allow ECM USA to determine whether the matter may be suitable for Institutional Review and whether further information should be requested.
ECM USA may decline any request that is unsupported, unclear, below threshold, misrepresented, restricted, outside scope, or inconsistent with the firm’s professional boundaries.
Information to Prepare
The request should be concise, factual, and mandate-focused.
Prospective clients should be prepared to provide enough information for ECM USA to assess whether further review is appropriate.

Provide a concise description of the commercial, financial, project, or cross-border matter, including its purpose and requested support.

Indicate the estimated mandate value, transaction value, financing requirement, project value, or relevant commercial scale.

Important Notice
ECM USA may decline any request in its sole discretion.
ECM USA may decline a preliminary request, decline to conduct Institutional Review, decline formal engagement, or terminate review where the matter is unsupported, unsuitable, misrepresented, restricted, outside scope, or inconsistent with ECM USA’s professional standards.
ECM USA does not guarantee lender approval, investor participation, bank acceptance, transaction completion, financing availability, or commercial outcomes. Where regulated legal, tax, fiduciary, investment, banking, custody, escrow, securities, or payment services are required, such services must be provided by qualified third-party institutions or professionals.
